| Almost every dog at ARF has already been abandoned at least once in their lifetime. Therefore, we are looking for loving, permanent homes for each dog in our care, no matter how long it takes.
Click here for a listing of dogs that are available for adoption. Please note you will be redirected to the Petfinder website where ARF lists all available dogs.
Adoption Process
2. Complete the adoption application. Please make sure that you give us as much information about yourself as you can. List all animals currently living with you including other dogs, cats, birds, etc. The application needs to be complete in order to help us determine if the dog you have chosen is a good match for your home.
3. Once the application is submitted you will usually receive an email letting you know if the dog would be a good match for you and making arrangements for you to meet the dog. We do prefer that everyone who will live with the dog come and meet them to ensure that everyone in the home is comfortable with the adoption.
Please be aware that there is a chance we may tell you that the dog you are interested in is not a good match and may suggest another dog.
4. If, after meeting the dog you decide you would like to adopt him or her, you will be required to sign an adoption contract.
Adoption Fee
Please note: although most people wishing to adopt ARF dogs are wonderful, we reserve the right to refuse any adoption applicant for any reason. |
